#MOTD 9.18.13 Soft, Subtle, & Romantic

I’ve been slacking. Completely. I haven’t posted anything in about a month and I’m ashamed. I am a vapid procrastinator. I’ve gotten so many suggestions and requests on what to post, that I became so intimidated that I just put it off. Lame, I know. But just because I have not posted anything doesn’t mean I haven’t thought about every minute of every day. So this is my plea to understand thatI haven’t been ignoring this blog or any input, I just needed to get my confidence back.
Enough of that stuff. Here’s a look I created yesterday, on my off day, while I was waiting to FaceTime my boyfriend. All important details, LOL. I wanted to look subtle, soft, and effortlessly romantic. The primer I used was Benefit’s Stay Flawless, which is leaning on the empty side. I thought I disliked this primer until I realized I used it up almost completely and I am desperately fiending for more! The foundation I used was my beloved Lock-It Foundation from Kat Von D. It is full coverage and has a matte finish. What’s not to love about that. I just blended a subtle contour under my cheekbones with Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer, then popped Benefit’s newest Blush Rockatuer on my cheeks. That’s one of my favorite parts about this look. The blush is a beautiful rose gold, that glows under any light. I didn’t wear any eyeshadow, just a pair of Ardell false lashes. On my lips I have NYX’s Soft Matte Lip Cream and LORAC’s Lips with Benefit’s in Mark.

I listed all the products below. Sorry, again, for my absence my loves.
