Fall is here, And we’re right in the thick of it. The temps are start to drop and it’s finally starting feel like hoody season. I scoured the beauty mags and internets to get a collective idea of what the 2015 Fall/Winter Makeup trends will be keep us warm throughout the season.
Now I ventured all through different predictions and pick out the top look I am here for. Some things will just never work for me…namely red lipstick. We’ll address that another time.
Anyhow, here are my favorite 2015 makeup trends:
1. Uber-Smoky Eyes
The clouds of smoke are rolling upon us. The heavier the smoke, the closer you are to God. I’m always here for a smoky eye but lately I just can’t get enough. Layers upon layers. Blend, blend, blend. Then blend some more.
2. Smudy, Smoky liner
Me and eyeliner have never been homies. So imagine my content when ultra precise wings were out the window, and smoked out, smudged liner has come to reclaim it’s dramatic throne.

3. Lush, voluminous lashes
Hello, my names Whitney, and I am addicted to false lashes. I feel naked without them. I need them. I don’t know who I’d be without them. Well, that’s a little dramatic but you get the picture. Sky high lashes are here, and what better way to set off your smudged out liner and uber-smoky eye.
4. Bronze and Plum eyeshadow
I’m a fan of both of these hues. and here’s the bonus: they look great together!
5.Rich, dark lips
Hello, vampire diaries. *my exact thought whenever I see sultry, deep lips.*
6. Flesh-tone nude lips
Pink nudes are my jam. Always will be. BUT BRING ON THE FLESH TONE! Yes, thats caps lock. And yes, it was necessary to make my point.
7. Flushed cheeks
Goodbye dramatic contour, we no longer need you, bronzer. A simple pop of color on your cheeks is all your gonna need for the season.
I’m digging this seasons theme: dramatic eyes and and downplayed lips and cheeks. This seasons trends are awesome because they are all interchangeable. So many combinations can be created but pairing different element of these trends. Deep bold, lips with mile high lashes. Smoked out liner, wither flesh toned lips. Hearts and gold horseshoes, clovers and blue moons. All that!
I’m planning on doing a series of posts playing around with these sultry fall trends. And I cannot wait to see what inspiration I can find out here in the blogosphere.
